Rs 5 lkh for Coramandel Exp victims

Railways Minister has announced a compensation of Rs lakh to the victims those killed in the Friday's mishap of Coramandel Express travelling from Howrah to Chennai. Those injured have been declared an aid of Rs 50,000.

The mishap occured near coastal Jajpur district of Orissa derailing 14 boggies. Rescue operations are still underway and many bodies are said to be trapped among the damaged boggies which is expected to raise the death toll over 50.--MP
