Nod for NSG hub in Bengal

West Bengal too will get a hub for its team of National Security Guards as soon as a proper sit for this is identified. This would be the the country's eastern hub for the NSG base.

As of now Barrackpore in North 24 Parganas district has been considered for the hub and Koikhali near the city airport for its anti-hijacking squad.

NSG Chief was in the the State and met with the CM to discuss on details of the proposed hub and an appropriate site of over 1200 acres are sought from the government for setting up the NSG unit in the State.
