Kolkata Metro to be extended

The Rail Minister's interim rail budget presented on Friday bought some cheer to the West Bengal this time. The major highlight was the announcement of the extension of the Kolkata metro rail from Dum Dum to Dakshineswar.
Others include extension of Kolkatta- Darbhanga Mithilanchal Express to Sitamarhi. Both Howrah-Gwalior Chambal Express and Howrah- Agra Cantt Chambal Express has been extended to Mathura. Kolkotta-Murshidabad Hazar Duari Express is extented to Lalgola.
