Birdflu hits Darjeeling, Siliguri

With fresh outbreak of the deadly avian infuenza spreading to West Bengal, culling operation is underway in the two affected areas of Darjeeling and Siliguri regions of North Bengal.
Culling is also being done at Jalpaiguri district as its closer to the affected areas. Sale and consumption of polutry products are prohibited in theres regions on the wake of this. Over 60,000 birds are expected to be culled over these days. --MP
