Wipro Chairman Azim Premji has ruled out speculations of issues related to land dealings with the West Bengal government for its proposed Wipro campus at Vedic Village.
Expressing hope and optimism on the government's part he maintained, "We are committed to West Bengal, committed to growth and committed to your government". Wipro which presently has a campus housed in Salt Lake has earlier announced of its second technology campus as a part of its expansion plans. However the government which has promised to give 90 acres of land for the purpose has not given any land so far. --MP
