PM urged to contest from Malda

With the coming Lok Sabha polls in mind, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been urged to contest from West Bengal's Maldah, says Congress sources in the State.
Mr Singh who represent Assam in Rajya Sabha has been asked by the Congress MPs of West Bengal to contest from Malda town of North Bengal, which is considered a stronghold of the Congress. This will be requested to the Prime Minister himself during his Scheduled visit to Malda on Dec 7th. --MP
