Friday 7 November 2008
After Tata pulling out of Singur, the West Bengal government is all set to invite other industrialists to the State. Its learnt that a Chinese automobile firm has shown interest in setting up thier car plant in the State. The automakers in a joint venture intent to start a manufacturing unit in WB had visited the State on this regard.
Though the Buddha govt has hinted of exploring alternate options on the Singur site, it is not confirmed where the new projects would come up. --MP
