Tata fear threat to Singur staff

Fearing threat to its employees, Tata has called back its staff at Singur following continued protest by the Trinamool activists to its Nana project at Singur.
The work at the factory has been stoppped consecutively for the second day as workers face problem with the ongoing strike. "There has been no improvement in the ground situation so far, hence the conditions are still not conducive for resuming work on Saturday,'' states the company. Mamta led Trinamool protestors has been continuing with their agitation pressing the government with their demand for return of land to the farmers. --MP
