WB JEE postponed

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations for admission to various professional courses in the state has been postponed indefinitely. The exams for the academic session 2008-2009 was delayed due to alleged malpractices including leakage of question papers. The incident was thrown light when police found set of question papers for the medical entrance exam being sold out in Ghatal region of West Midnapur district of West Bengal. The West Bengal Criminal Investigation Dept is probing on the matter trying to find out more detials on the leakage of question papers which were printed at a Kolkata based press. --MP
