Train link to Dhaka resumes

The train services connecting India and Bangladesh which was stopped for over decades had been resumed on Monday.
The historic event was marked on the Bengali New Year with India's foreign minister Pranab Mukherjee flagging off the Maitree Express from Kolkata with 65 passengers on board. Train services between the two countries were suspended after the 1965 war between India and Pakistan. "It's a historic moment for India and Bangladesh," said Mukherjee at the occasion. --MP
