Culling continues in State
Wednesday, 2 April, 2008

With bird flu hitting West Bengal again culling operations are still continuing in the affected districts of the State.

Malda district and parts of Murshidabad was reported to have affected by the virus in March.

With bird flu resurfacing Jalpaiguri district, authorities had set a target to cull around 40,000 birds in the district before April first week. Meanwhile no human cases are reported so far.
