Kolkata marathon round the corner

I appreciate the Telegraph for this mamoth effort. To organise a marathon is not easy. I really wanted to participate but as an ameteur runner I can only finish under 5 hours. But the organisers expressly state that one must complete the run in 3 1/2 hours. At that speed I would need to be an athelete.

In most marathons the organisers recognise anyone who compelete in 5 hours. Maybe the Telegraph can be encourage to do the same. It would definitely encourage runners like myself to participate.
